“Georgia Rotary Student Program’s scholarship was a blessing for my family and allowed me to pursue my dreams. I had no idea about Rotary. I was shocked, but in a good way. It was so much more than just financial assistance. It was my home away from home, and I am glad that as a part of the program that I had the chance to see other cities in Georgia and make new friends. I am thankful for this experience.”

HISTORY OF GRSP

Since 1946, Rotarians in Georgia have promoted world peace by offering ambassadorial scholarships to international students. This includes opportunities for students to culturally immerse themselves and study in Georgia colleges and universities, supporting Georgia Rotarians’ belief that “Peace is Possible.”

benefits

GRSP host families “adopt” students into their home for one year, when housing is closed for school breaks. It is an immersive, life-changing experience that allows both the student and family to learn about each other’s experiences, cultures, and customs.

The GRSP scholarship connects students to local Rotarians, who are business leaders, mentors, and champions for education.

GRSP provides the opportunity to build life-long friendships and expand both the student’s and the Rotary’s global networks, in hopes of making the world a better place together.
