Out of an abundance of caution, the leadership of Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Thomasville’s Conclave Committee decided to shift its in-person Conclave, the opening assembly for the incoming class, originally scheduled in Thomasville to a fully online format.

While COVID-19 and the Delta Variant are changing the way GRSP celebrates, it cannot diminish the excitement our program has for the incoming class of students, which includes forty international students, 30 females and 10 males from 16 countries who are attending both private and public colleges in universities in Georgia. This class has graciously been sponsored by 89 Rotary clubs.

Students enjoyed the alumni panel discussion with Loreto Gonzalez, GRSP Class of 1996-1997 and Geeth Mahagamage, GRSP Class of 2018-2019 along with GRSP Vice Chair Mike Sweigart. This session along with additional the recordings of the live presentations, biographies of the presenters, presentation slide decks and support materials are available on the Events Library tab from the virtual Conclave at www.grspconclave.com.
