Generations of Generosity for GRSP Peace Plaza and Will Watt Memorial Fountain

The Rotary Club of Thomasville partnered with Courtyard® by Marriott® Thomasville Downtown to commemorate Georgia Rotary Student Program’s 75th milestone anniversary by creating the GRSP Peace Plaza and a William A. Watt, Sr., Memorial Fountain in honor of GRSP and its founder. The estimated cost to develop the GRSP Peace Plaza and William A. Watt, Sr. Memorial Fountain is $100,000. Any funds raised beyond that amount were recognized and used for the GRSP Foundation, which lowers the cost of GRSP students to Georgia Rotary clubs. Donors who contributed on the Platinum Level, $5,000  have been identified on permanent signage at the Peace Plaza, which was formally dedicated January 22, 2022.
